Artist Statement
K’hilah is an abstract representation of the interconnectedness, acceptance, and love of all individuals in a community; no matter if they areBlack, White, Asian, Brown, Gay, Straight, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Disabled, Young, Old, Male, Female, Intersex, etc. K’hilah is hope, love, and community for all.
This piece was created as a commission for Roberts Wesleyan University. It is currently on display in the Golisano Community Engagement Center on campus.
